Again, never pay your contractors by the hour.<br><br>Apparently this contractor doesn\\&#8217;t know how to tape a plastic sheet to stucco (it doesn\\&#8217;t stick&#8230;).<br>\u00a0<br>Also, during this time, I was (and still am) unemployed and had nothing better to do, so I checked the status of the contractor the HOA board used and has used for years.<br><br>Hm, that\u2019s weird; HIS CONTRACTOR\u2019S LICENSE IS SUSPENDED.<br>\u00a0<br>Now, I\u2019m not an attorney, but I know that if my appraiser\u2019s license was suspended, I couldn\u2019t complete appraisal assignments, and I could be fined and lose my license (not that it matters much when there\u2019s no work).<br><br>I\\&#8217;ve included pictures of the tear down and replacement of the door on this page.  The next page will show the pictures of the deck tear down and replacement.<br><br>Some of the pictures show the condition of the subfloor and related framing under the stucco when the rear door and decking were taken out.<br><br>Now, I\u2019m not a licensed contractor, let alone a contractor with a suspended license, but the pictures suggest the interior flooring at the door threshold, the subfloor underneath the interior floor and related elements seem to be pretty dry.<br>\u00a0<br>Actually, in my professional opinion as a Certified General Appraiser with 39 years experience, I\u2019m pretty confident saying the wood underneath the interior floor and beneath the deck hasn\u2019t tasted a drop of water since the tree(s) was\/were chopped down and used for lumber.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\\&quot;wp-block-group\\&quot;
